So since you asked on ideas for this in the changelog I figured I'd make a thread to collect them. Personally I'm perfectly happy with my refined storage system so don't really need it. but I don't think any overworld worldgen would be a good idea. I would suggest either adding a small farmworld specifically for such generation (as in december somewhere thaumcraft is also expected to release) or seeing if there's a way to up the chance of getting these in the quantum quarry?
For the meteor blocks you could make a recipe of 8 compressed cobble and one obsidian and then re-use the the inscriber press recipe that was made. For the certus, I can't think of a decent idea.
