I did the sign and portal correctly, but when I try to go to the nether, it just lights the obsidian with fire and doesn't actually make the purple portal.
The nether, the end, and the overworld are blacklisted dimensions on the Galactic Science server. Nether portals are disabled and the tier 1 rocket have been removed for this reason as they are primarily off limits.
