Done Ping issues

So i log onto the server, and tried to talk in chat. It took a minute and 38 seconds (measured with stopwatch)
Can't move or open anything without waiting a couple minutes.
This is the first time this is happening to me, and everything else internet-wise is fine for me.
Help?

 

Speedtest.net by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test to check how fast your provider is, if it's less than 10/mbps you kinda need more bandwith and the like, and if so, upgrade if possible

not terrible, no idea what could cause it then, if you're watching anything on netflix on your ISP currently or a stream that would also do it

 

I just have minecraft open, and it's still the same problem.
This is the first time to happen to me on the server, and i've been on the server for a couple of weeks now.

 

someone more qualified than me needs to help you fix your problem, i'm not much of a network guy, i just know some basics

 

Does this happen everywhere on the server?
Meaning, Try to leave you base and go to spawn then try to log in.

Also what is your ping? To find this, hoover over the signal bar above the #/# players online at the server select screen.

Also open your task manager and see if any processes are using your bandwidth

 

240 ms, When i go to spawn i can say things immediatly, but when i go to my island it takes 2 minutes to say something.

 

This means something on your island is causing you issues. Also your ping is rather high.

Now, Return to your island,Logout, then log in and as soon as you Join press F3, I would like to know your FPS on the top left, and the ram usage on the to right, the % and total

 

The problem was fixed, For some reason it was alright after a few hours offline.

 

It was most likely an issue with your Internet provider.
