Ok so i have a minecraft server (i portfowarded it duh )and I was wondering how hard it is to host it. also and is it possible to host a server for free. Edit: Or would it be better to get a minecraft realms account since I want to play with a few friends I have no idea how to use realms (this is not advertising i don't want anyone on my server i just need help)
1st things 1st what u mean have a minecraft server... if u have a minecraft server i dont understand how ur having a issue? i host my own servers via my server systems i dont pay anything to host a server is actually free just many people choose to pro-host as its more simple
Sir recal if you know how minecraft servers work you have to have your computer running the program and i caint do that and server hosting is too complicated im gonna do realms
Captain you know realms only host vanilla servers? If you want to do a mod pack servers are the best option

Nope but hosting your own servers genuinely not difficult if you'd rather play modded Minecraft. Theres plenty of videos that walk you through it depending if you want to host it yourself or pay for hosting
For some reason my computer just doesn't like hoasting servers, I did all the port forwarding and stuff just like multiple videos and still only people on the same internet as me can access it But from the posts (or lack of) that I've found, it's not a very common problem that I have so I doubt that you will have that problem.
