After the Sky Factory 2.5 Node 2 continuously kept crashing, I attempted to log into Node 1 in order to open a ticket about it, but I kept getting Timed Out... I tried restarting the client and the same thing, node 2 kept crashing causing me to get a time out and although node 1 was showing as online, I keep timing out when attempting to log in... The last thing I was doing was setting up a dropper to spit out Experience Bottles at a Vacuum Hopper, as I've done many times in the past on most servers... A JABBA Barrel with the bottles attached to Ender IO Item Conduits exporting to the Vanilla Dropper... The dropper set to go off every 20 ticks using an RFTools Timer connected to vanilla redstone on the ground leading to the dropper... The Hopper in front of the Dropper hooked up to Ender IO Fluid Conduits hooked into drums... Although I doubt what I was setting up would be causing the issue I'm having, as I've had that setup before without issues on other packs... But I figured I'ld mention it, just in case, since it was the last thing I was doing prior to the server crashing... I actually play on Node 2, and I was just attempting to get into Node 1 to open a ticket (/ticket create)... Zip
Hello Zippy! I hope this finds your way to you and that it helps; There is a way you can join directly into the hub, I just happen to not know the IP to directly connect to it. You can try going to another server (Infinity Evolved) and start the ticket there then change it on the website. Also, they have ways to send you to /spawn to see if that works. Have you tried restarting your launcher or computer yet? Maybe Internet Connection. I find that when I do this that it seems to help most of the time. You can try re-downloading the pack too. If none of this works, this will have to be brought directly to higher staff. Best of Luck! -VampiricT
I just tried to get onto the Sky Factory 2.5 Node 2 server and it timed me out... When I refreshed the list, it showed that Node 2 had gone offline... I suspect that my setup I mentioned is causing the server to crash... To give you a better description of where the setup is located: When facing the tower, to the right are stairs going down to what I labeled as the Dungeon... If you take the stairs all the way to the main spawning room, there is a JABBA barrel with a hole in the ground leading to the small setup... You may need to break the dropper and ender io cables and maybe even get arid of the jabba barrel containing Experience Bottles... I'm assuming that is the cause of the issue, which is strange because I've used that setup before for years now without a hitch... Perhaps this pack has an issue with it somehow... Do you need me to download and login to another pack's server to make a ticket for this? For the time being, it is either me having issues logging in, or something on my island is causing the server to crash when I attempt to login, which is why I get timed out... As to the Hub question, the Hub is not in the server list... I load the pack using the MyM Launcher, so it lists both Node 1 and Node 2, but does not list the Hub like the other packs mostly do when loading from the MyM Launcher... So I couldn't go directly there to open a ticket, hence my post in the Support Forums instead... There was a block on your island which caused the server to crash, maybe you can join now again. Not sure why you would get timed out.
The block must have been the Vanilla Dropper... It must have some sort of issues having Experience Bottles placed inside it... dunno... But I'm able to get in now... Sorry for the hassle it caused... Zip
