Mob-less

I already have an island and pretty much everything I need on the SkyFactory 2 server, but I'm helping another friend start their island, but how am I supposed to have a farm? every cow and chicken I get just disappear without notice.

 

is it 24 blocks away from the spawn point?
Has he disabled it in his /is?

 

How many mobs do you have in the same area in 3x3 chunks? I believe there is a limit to suppress any tps lag coming from creatures only.

 

We had mobs spawn and everything, and there were only 5 mobs at the time

 

Weird... Pretty sure the limit is around 20-30 (can't remember). I do recall someone having this issue aswell from another thread.

 

I've always had issues with this. It'a quite annoying, considering I'm helping a friend and all of his fluid cows are disappearing.
