hello civ players,

im here to ask you about you opinions about civ im a huge fav of this pack and think that @Krhymez and booker have done a great job.
so far but it has some issues for example in informus thaumcraft bug i would like to reccomend a fresh start now before everyone shouts as me i know trust me i know but if its needed would you support this.
as constant updates do not seem to fix the issue also please post what you want this pack to be below do we want it pvp focused or suvival also thanks for stick with civ we now its a bit tempremental.
(one other thing im with @Krhymez about AE so just dont ask )

i love civ but i would like to see a fresh start new mods and more pvp based

 

cause in theory if we can track down the mods that cause several issue they can be removed it wont require a new sever build it will still be same version of minecraft so should be quite easy to set up

 

this is true im more thinking fundumetal change of mods mods being removed and recipes addapted so its like a new pack at least

 

but hopefully it will be easier to solve issues then the thaumcraft bug look at how long booker spent trying to sort it

But at least john has the time and dedication to look after the MOD pack where as others may not have that privilege

 

im more then understanding i know krhy loved this pack but he has real life stuff to do and i do not want all of his hard work to go to waste cause no one is willing to invest time into this

its nonsence to start over a 4th time boys.

I've been on the pack development from the beginning, and one of the pack testers.
So i can confirm that version 1.2.5 is very stable (original launched pack)

the problems started when mods were removed and added after the 1.2.5. version without testing.

removing and adding mods asks for a new test server and a test team not a live server.
To my feelings this is where most problems started.

The only way to present a stable pack will mean no to little community input after the launch.
recommendations and mod proposals can only be done during the development (test server).

So if you want a community mod pack that is open to mod requests you will have to deal with occassional crashes or bug encounters.

I have requested mods and .... nothing it seems no one is looking after the pack john can

Well its not called a "community" pack for nothing

 

I think if you guys want good for the server you shuld apply for staff here and work on getting higher ranks according to MyM policies. By doing so u shuld be able to get enough work experience and trust here. Forcing in solutions will only waste time for you and the staff.
