Thaumic Skies: Future Updates

    Hello fellow minecrafters,

    I want to discuss some of thaumic skies future updates with you:

    I have the following things:
    • Witching Gadgets - Gadomancy incompatibility
      WG adds an item called "primordial gauntlet" that is capable of powering itself by grabbing a node from the world. Unfortunately, Gadomancy overrides the thaumcraft nodes with its own ones, as it adds a new kind of node called "growing nodes". Possible solutions are:
      1. Don't do anything, I dont like/understand the gauntlet
      2. Change Gadomancy's config to disable growing nodes (All of them in world/Their research will disappear)
      3. Override some parts of WG to get it working with Gadomancy again (my personally favorite, though I'm bad at modding...)
    • Green hearts:
      As for now, there are no recipes for TConstruct's green heart canisters:
      1. Leave them out
      2. Add them as Mob Drop
      3. Add them as Thaumcraft Lootbag Loot
      4. Add them as crafting recipe
        • easy
        • hard
      5. Add them as Thaumcraft research
        • easy - Arcane worktable
        • medium - Crucible
        • hard - Infusion recipe
      6. Add them as Xtreme Crafting recipe (very hard!)
    • Some Machines:
      Well, I thought as this is a thaumcraft skyblock pack, more of the machines and frames should have to be researched / created by using thaumcraft!
      1. Great idea, but leave XY as it is
      2. Great, change everything
      3. Don't do anything

    2. Add as Thaumcraft Research - Infusion Recipe

    3. Machines: Change everything. I would like everything to be researched/created by thaumcraft

    These are my opinions :)

    EDIT: 1. Both are nice mods, maybe you could make them both work

    2. Since this is thaumcraft based, infusion would fit better

    3. Machines: Change Everything. Preferably put the Machine researches on a new tab, and no required cross mech mod research. (Research would progress ender IO machines separate from Thermal Expansion, etc.) And add a bit of info about what the machine is used for on the completed research entry, for people who don't know.

    2. Crucible recipe, beacuse the previous ones are hard enough.

    3. I think the machines must be made with thaumcraft, but with an easy crafting recipe

    For machines, you could always make the machine frames/casings require infusion crafting, and have the rest of the machine be normal.

    First of all thanks @kindlich for the work and time you are investing on this, and as some of the comments said, WG override it if possible, Green Heart Canisters I like the idea of a Infusion recipe, and for the machines keep the recipe but need only the arcane worktable and some aspects.

    @M4sterOx For the machines i'm gonna add a research tab, and the ones you need more than one (e.g. Smelters) are crafted in the Worktabel, but the ones you only need one (e.g. the Soul Binder) are made with an infusion.

    @kindlich Actually I'm starting to love that idea, also as I told you already I want to help you but I'm not understanding the GitHub collab, but anyway.

    From past experince on other packs the Gauntlet is a lot of fun and useful. I'd like to see it work.

    I'm finding no need for Flaxbeard Steam power as it is, why is it in the pack? Granted just started 5-6 days ago and worked around the plates already.
