I seem to be unable to do anything that involves potions of night vision - the biggest problem is the Cowl of Abyssal depths, where infusion doesn't start even though all required essentia and items are present. Same issue occurs when trying to add nightvision to Dark Helm. Recipes with other potions work fine (Leggings of the Burning Mantle containing potion of fire resistance infused just fine). Is there something I can do to fix this? Using MyM Launcher, added TabbyChat, FastCraft and damage indicators. Tried it with FTB launcher without those extra mods as well, same problem. Console is not showing any error message when trying to start the infusion.
have you tried in SP? also make sure it is just the normal potion with no extra buffs or extra time because that will prevent it from working
Turns out infusion altar won't accept a potion that was found in a loot chest, or generated by loonium - it has to be created by player, looks like some difference in NBT data preventing it from recognizing the potion
@jVikss I'll need a list of all recipes that are not working with the potion. Ill also need the Full potion ID that you are trying to use, and how you got the potion.
There are 2 recipes that weren't working: Thaumcraft Arcane Infusion for the Cowl of Abyssal Depths and Upgrading Ender IO Dark Helm in an anvil. ID of the potion that doesn't work: 373:8230 ID of the potion that works: 373:8198 I'm not sure how I got it in the first place - could be either drop from a witch, or generated by loonium.
I had this problem once as well on the Hubris pack. The potions that didn't work for me then had been pulled out of the thaumcraft loot bags. (I think, I had found them somewhere else than a brewing stand though)
