Firstly you have to take into consideration that many players can do this - You tped to him giving him the right to place you anywhere - Plus I recommend not starting a "Beware of this player" campaign as it may of been a mistake to start with
He can't intentionally place you in to lava. So no he can't place you anywhere. If you feel this was wrong please open a ticket or player complaint.
