If a player isn't fast enough to craft a division sigil item, such as the Deep Dark Portal, before it blows up, is it fine if another player crafts it in their place? The original player is supplying all of the materials of course, including the activated sigil.
Firstly, You may want to look into Unstable/stable nuggets Secondly, it should be ok if you are friends and work together Thirdly, Deep Dark and larger scale Unstable/stable ingot required recipes, you should be looking more at the Psuedo Division Sigil which allows you to make stable ingots Spoiler: Another way You can use a normal division sigil to make stable nuggets
Yeah, it's just that I got conflicting stories about it. Recently, I was told that a mod had told one of the other players that that kind of stuff wasn't allowed. However, I recall having a conversation a while back where I was it was fine. It's just that I like to help out other players if they can't craft whatever unstable thing they're making fast enough, and don't want to risk getting banned for helping a slow crafter. There's no transfer of resources or anything, just a service.
I usually did this often, as you HAVE all the items to craft it with, and as such you just did the "I have the item already" part, it's just you can't craft it DUE to the speed you craft at, so it sounds good to me
I suggest getting a pseudo inversion sigil as soon as you get your first nether star. A tier 3 jetpack, fortress armour and an enderium cleaver is all what you need to complete the ritual. Already have 2 of them. Also, pseudo sigil lets you craft even more powerful stuff, like distraction pick with efficiency 10 or shears with unbreaking 10. definitely worth the investment.
pseudo sigils take a long time, and if you kill the golem with a tinkers sword the ritual doesn't work, I have tested this and found this out
the thing about doing what you want is, that as soon as you or your friend move the ingots from the inventory (your frined passing the ingots for example) you will explode, you are supposed to craft the items as soon as you create the ingots, you simply need to be prepared with items upfront and to craft the item you want as soon as possible and thats it
also putting items in hotbar helps, so you just have to hover the field in crafting grid and press the number on keyboard to get the item in there.
you can only craft the items using a vanilla crafting table, if it detects another crafting grid it will automaticly explode i believe
Soften up the golem and store it in a safari net or something, then kill it with a single blow. Also, if you make a 3*2*3 chamber under the roof of the nether and use a piston to push the wither in it, kinda like the old vanilla suffocate-the-wither, and just wack it with a wooden sword until it dies.
if you wouldnt have told anybody that you have another player make you some items. nobody would care about it. Also it would really wonder me if you supply the materials and the sigil that it would be disallowed. You effectively just trade some diamonds for another players time... why would that be a bad thing? Or whole Capitalism system relies on that!
Let me clean this up a bit as this is something I respond to often. Activated division sigils or any byproduct of said division sigils will not be traded or sold. Since you are NOT giving anyone anything but merely letting them craft something for you with YOUR materials to no benefit of themselves then that is okay. However, if they benefit from your activated sigil trading or selling (if monetary value is exchanged), then that is not allowed.
So if someone pays me 50 mym to craft a deek dark portal and they provide the resources thats not allowed?
You misunderstood exactly what I said. First I'll quote, then re-write (i see typos in my text). However, if the "person creating products from activated sigil" benefits from helping you and doing it for you (and is not your basemate/teammate) its not allowed. No trading or sharing or selling of anything associated with an activated division sigil or any byproduct of it. If someone wants to pay you 50 myms to make something for them using their materials that you return to them when you are done keeping nothing then go for it. I dont see the harm in being paid for your time and risk. But you can't share the outcome or byproducts or sigil in a way that would benefit you too. THAT is what I meant. DISCLAIMER: If you are being asked to craft or unlock something that the person otherwise would NOT be able to do on their own progression then NO.. its not allowed. (example: Thaumcraft research bypass for node acquisition, or other items you need to unlock to obtain ((Not limited to this example)) ).
