I'm getting an average of 8 FPS in the new modpack (Crackpack) in the sky with minimum settings and I'm not sure what's causing it.
This is odd to me since I can run it with steady 30 FPS on my laptop.
If you have any tips or a solution I'd appreciate it, also if you need more information just ask.
    Desktop Specs:
    Graphics Card: GV-R938G1 GAMING-4GD GIGABYTE - Graphics Card - AMD - PCI Express Solution - Radeon™ R9 300 series - GV-R938G1 GAMING-4GD
    Processor: CPU AMD FX-6300 Six-Core 3.5Ghz
    RAM: 16 Gb
    Laptop Specs:
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 4000
    Processor: Intel Core i7-3557U Four-Core 2GHz
    RAM: 8 Gb

Notes: I have 4Gb min and 8Gb max RAM allocated for the MyM launcher and 256Mb for PermGen. Also I made sure my drivers are updated.

I noticed the same. It seems to be the pack. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out if it is a specific mod.
How is it in single player for you, compared to other packs?
    For me it's bad, too.

Single player I get around the same frames... I was messing around with my system's settings and made it playable btw, but still...
I am starting to believe it's just how heavy the pack is...

If you got any idea which mod it might be, you could verify it by removing that mod and loading up singleplayer. Unless it is caused by incompatibility between mods, its likely caused by a single mod.

The issue here is not RAM, if I press F3 and look at "Used Memory" I've never seen it go over 40% and it's usually at 20~25%

I noticed that the mini-boss crypt blocks were causing FPS lag for us while we were building the spawn, I removed them within the spawn protection zone and the FPS lag was reduced drastically. I was getting about 9fps before, and now I get 60 (vsync). Perhaps this is the cause?

I recommend to try with only 4 GB max memory settings and make sure that you use x64 Java.
in my PC I use the modpack with only 2 GB memory, so the 4 GB memory is more than enough. More memory not always better in Java world.
