    Hey,

Node5 sometimes performs really bad for the last week. TPS might not be the issue as we never had that much Timeouts before when server is on low TPS (~10)

Maybe this is related to the fixed Chat Link between Node4 and Node5, so i want to ask if you could disable that link for 1-2 days or have any other idea for the source of that spikes.

    Thanks

If Node 5 is the only one that lags, then it's unlikely to be something that all of the servers share.

Does any me system show up in the chat? As the lag spikes seem to be related to applied energistics and thaumicenergistics

sometimes there are some on the list, but yesterday i can tell that there wasn't.

if you allready debugged and its thaumic energetics related, it may be some vis relay interfaces. i had the problem before on my thaumsetup and the lagcount increased by time (even when the system was "idle"). the only way to stop the lag was to remove the vis relay interface or disabling the whole ME system. but hadn't problems with that for the last weeks.

also i can tell that some players upgraded to those interfaces in the past week, so maybe all of those systems together tear down the server.

this bug wasn't in older releases, so maybe they fixed it in newer ones and it's possible to patch that serverside, if a new recommended version with a update doesn't exist yet.

so we removed some of the interfaces, but there are still horrible lag spikes even with 10 players online. it also happens only when server is up >2 hours, and stijn checked few hours ago and noticed that the server was out of memory.

so maybe it helps to just do the auto-restart every 2 hours?

Firstly, how can someone who doesnt have access to console see that a server is out of memory ? Theres no ingame commands that would give an accurate representation of the memory.
Secondly, if the server was out of memory the server would have crashed to protect itself as it couldn't save the world.

Stijin can see server stats. To my knowledge all Staff members, including JrMods can see server stats. While they don't have access there is another system for viewing it.

Broke 10 stacks of stone and only 1-4 seconds lag spikes, nothing major.

how long was the server up when you tried? it's mostly playable for the first 2hours of uptime, then get's worse.

also JDBMiner told me to remove some items, no idea if that had impact on the server perfomance, and what else was changed for the last day.

so, i just want to give feedback, didn't play a lot on N5 in the last weeks...

the problem still persists, after around 2 hours uptime the whole server starts lagging while TPS is fine. so might be some memory leak?!

(actually tps is ~18 and server is lagging again, so that players allready left the server to come back after the automatic restart)

it is a memory leak admins are aware of the issue and looking into it

as the problem still exists, maybe we can have a restart each 2 hours instead of 3?

as soon as the issue is solved you could set it back to 3hours

Sorry, was this evolved or normal node 5?
And can you post some timestamps when you had one of those lag spikes?
