This morning my daughter and I did several things around our house. She made a backpack and did some cosmetic changes. Now she logs on again and everything seems to have been rolled back to before our changes this morning? I also made a redstone furnace and that's gone.

    What has happend?

How long was the rollback? It should be never more then 5 minutes .

Well it was certainly longer then 5 minutes. I made an energy cell, a redstone furnce, three photovoltaic cells. And my daughter has lost a lot of work too. Certainly more then 5 minutes.

Ok, well there were not many people online at that moment and I don't remember who exactly. BTW, why is there a rollback in the first place?

The rollbacks happen after a server crash. Rollbacks occur to make sure that whatever caused the crash still isn't there, otherwise the server could end up in an infinite loop of crashes and restarts.

Not exactly. It can't save the world if the server crashes.
