I know that FTB is working on a 1.10 version of Infinity, but based on their last video, it is months away from being completed and who know how long it will go through testing before it becomes a real release... I was looking around on the different websites for any other folks working on 1.10 mod packs and while looking on Curse, I saw that the most downloaded and liked mod pack for Minecraft version 1.10.2 was one called 'All The Mods'... Most servers out there seem to be private white listed only servers that are either at or beyond capacity so they are not letting new folks join in... Because of this, it is hard to see how it's working in a Multiplayer environment... As to the suggestion itself, has anyone looked into this pack as perhaps a possible future addition to Mine Your Mind's Network? I would love to see more up to date mod packs being used and/or tested for possible future use... As we are 3+ major versions behind on the most popular packs, and have no real information if this will stay the current trend... I do know that more 1.7.10 packs (including in-house packs) are still in the works, but it would be nice to catch up with the times at some point... I am suggesting the 'All The Mods' Mod Pack, primarily due to it's download popularity on Curse, both overall and it's high monthly total... Of course, if this pack has already been reviewed and found to be either too full of issues or we would rather stick with packs released by the bigger studios such as ATLauncher, FTB, and Technic, I perfectly understand... At this time 1.10 is too far out, even outside of FTB. While some packs exist, the amount of mods is still low and most of them are in an unstable state or in the middle of major changes/additions. Hence the mods and packs get updated frequently. Causing the amount of bugs to be intense and fluctuating. While we can fix many bugs, we couldn't keep up with them. We are considering the creation of a small custom pack, from time to time. In this case we would control the versions of mods and update process, lowering the need of human resources for debugging and fixing drastically. So far we decided against it due to limited human expert resources.
From a back end perspective we are working on building a stable server infrastructure to support 1.10 when it is ready. You can join in the live testing here Testing Required - 1.10.2 Anarchy Server (Experimental) | MineYourMind Community
I'ld be more than willing to help test if I didn't 100% detest Player vs Player... Perhaps if you end up testing something not involving PvP in the future, just let me know... I'm into Multiplayer games more for the Co-operative game play, not to battle other players... I do appreciate the invite though... And I look forward to seeing if any 1.10+ mod packs ever do make it into live on the MyM network... Perhaps once FTB get's Infinity 1.10+ up and running... Thanks, Zip
I hope i can post this; Overview - Almost Vanilla - Modpacks - Projects - Minecraft CurseForge I am currently working on a pack. But it is very light weight. Only "big" mods are Forestry and Psi. I have spent all day playing this pack BUT all month playing 1.10 mods. But one man can not find all the bugs. If you would like to help speed up the process, Play this for a few hours and let me know your opinions.
