It's basically your fault for not claiming your land, A staff member could look who did it but not really do anything about it. It's easy to get rid of water anyway you just need dirt!
Seems like you made some people angry. (; As the rules on PVP state "No Griefing and stealing in Protected Areas" I don't see why this sort of "project" isn't legal and (as the title says) hilarious. On the case of "who" did it, I wont disclose the name. That'll be your goal if you'd really like to know. On my "player" side of the event, I came by and cleared most of it as I feel for you and even when I was there my frames dropped a bit however to keep spirit of the water I left a little. Doesn't something of this sort affect everyone on the server, per lag .... ?? The "someone" in question should be dealt with accordingly. Just saying.
