It will not let me actually crafted the carved block for the portal. I put everything together, stone, dye, eye and get nothing
It may be disabled in the modpack, I don't know. I will look it up for you though. I can't find if it is or not. Hopefully someone else with this knowledge can tell you.

If you cannot craft in singleplayer, I'm pretty sure it's disabled by modpack. I don't know this for certain, but if you have the exact materials, there's only a couple other reasons that you can't.
you probably used the wrong dye, it works on the bevo server. one is magenta and the other is purple!
One is magenta? It showed purple? Dang it. Ok, I will try it with the two different colors. That may have been it. These 50 year old eyes are not what they once were...lol Thanks y'all
