When I placed down a bucket of pink slime, obtained from a slaughterhouse, no pink slime spawns as it is supposed to. Any ideas on what the problem is and a possible answer would be much appreciated! Thanks
This could be caused by the spawn limit. The limit is based on the amount of mobs within a 3x3 chunk area. Did you try to spawn them close to mob farms?
Works fine in one block holes, I've done it that way many times as recently as a day ago on Sky factoy 2 so I know it works there too.

48x48 blocks, chunks are 16 blocks square. How long are you waiting for it to spawn? Some times its instant, sometimes it takes a few minutes. I will say that I got my slime from a fluid cow not a slaughterhouse but that shouldn't matter.
If you press F9 you can get a visual indicator of chunk boundaries. That will give you a good idea of a 3x3 chunk area.
