Done enchanted book

hello guys, i just started playing SF 2.5 on node 2. i want to use auto sieve/auto heavy sieve for the resource production, but i wanted to know if the enchanted book placed into those 2 item will be consumed over time.
if it is, at what rate?

that is what i found on the net, but it doesn't say how much time the book hold out

 

I went to check the config files of Ex Compressum and i think they dont decay:
