If you look at the hqm parties (in the book) you can see how your party is doing in regards to other parties in the game. One thing is really troubling. While many players are struggling to stay afloat, there are several teams (3 as of last night when I logged off) that seem to have found some bug or way to abuse the system to get near unlimited lives. Not going to name names, and I have no way of seeing which players are on these teams, but there are teams that have 2 players and 200+ lives. Considering that the only quest that gives a full heart and is repeatable requires the Aether (which is disabled) and is on an 8 in game day cooldown, this is not possible legitimately. And these are teams that have relatively low progress (around 5-6%) I'm around 12% and haven't found any fountain of unlimited lives in the book. Something is being abused here and needs to be fixed.
One two man team has 343 lives remaining at this time. so they both died 3 times and then died another 57 times? Also yesterday some people were running around with 30 lives, so something is going on.
is hqm hardcore mode enabled by default? if you dont activate it players not using hardocore have 100 lives
it is on by default, you are supposed to start with 3 lives, and the only quest that gives a repeatablefull life is uncompletable due to needing the aether mod and is on an 8 in game day cooldown. each of the parties have 2 players iirc, and the totals of lives are like 237, 343 and 269 I think...
Please keep the post relevant to the topic. Anyway, this is still a HQM bug. If you lose all your lives, you sometimes can respawn in with 256 lives, which can double or add some if you join a party with someone. People may take advantage of this and just not care about dying which could explain the one group having 50 some + deaths. -V
