I was wondering if there were any plans to bring the Hermitpack to MYM, if not I'm willing to bet that I'm saying this on account of most of the community that it will be a great addition.

After watching a few videos, I noticed that the hermit pack is not a very resource demanding pack, making it a great choice for us with budget-pcs (Or potato laptops).

While I understand there will be concern, with it being 1.10 and the need to work on plugins that protect our belongings, I feel that the mym community will be responsible enough to control their own greed as to not grief.

TL;DR Introduce the HermitCraft 1.10 pack to MYM because 1.10..

Can you provide a link? The main problem is prople expecting it to work like 1.7. Most of the donor stuff doesn't along with backend stuff.

Honestly was hoping if it'd be possible to have a warning on a post saying it's mostly plugin free and that its only for those who can live without perks.

When no one gets the joke but yourself, it's not a joke.

Our staff are still working on getting to 1.10. Since our packs are all centered around 1.7 and a couple 1.6, there's HUNDREDS of hours that go into getting things compatible with 1.10 since the plugins we use will need to be completely rewritten for the most part.
    Be patient :)

@LucidTheStick : Could you please elaborate more in detail on the current status of the porting of stuff to 1.10? I have been reading the term "hundreds of hours" multiple times now and it basically could mean everything or nothing. So what is worked on and what is not worked on yet, how many people are actually working on it and is there an estimated release date or some kind of deadline? It would be cool to hear some of the actual challenges presented to MyM to get everything up to 1.10.

The very very very basic stuff is there and in use on pixelmon, but it is more or less only one way permission sync. At this time sponge still isn't in a production ready state and still lacking a solid permission system. Which is the very very least foundation.
Its probably gonna be another 6 Months or Year based on the progress of the past progression before it gets to a production ready state with our expectations.
Therefor we have not started any work on porting mechanics we wrote for 1.6 & 1.7 to sponge.

I know this is one heck of a long shot but couldn't your devs make a 1.10 cauldron? I know it wasn't ported to 1.10 and the only thing is sponge but i feel like you guys could pull it off!

We probably could but that is a few hundred hours project, too. I also don't think that we are big enough to maintain it properly.

I think once its made it will be maintained by the bukkit community. People want cauldron that's evident but no one has made it.
