some spells need neutral essence which you can only get from the neutral nexus Mana Batteries no longer convert light or dark to neutral.
do you see a way of tweaking the stuff that it works without the essence nexus? The issue is that there is a bug with the essence nexus that is killing the server performance. Only one nexus can bring the server down to 2-5 tps.
Edit: the issue got fixed, but unfortunately doesn't seem FTB to care that much about horizons as that they would push an update. I hope they will finally make one updated with the next small updates of monster and direwolf
