Storage Cell

 

well we actually did "some" work to secure our new base.
not just use 10 diamonds and craft it
still i kinda like it. do mobs spawn and so on?

 

the only problem i see. they are too safe compared to the work u have to do. make a portal via a mod of ur choice. get ur storage cell. ur 100% safe.
and u can still raid people as u are still doing while living in ur storage cell.
u could call it op.

 

The portal thing actually took some work as most teleportation methods don't work even when they are supposed to. Some require chunk loading and others aren't inter dimensional.[DOUBLEPOST=1406069405,1406068013][/DOUBLEPOST]Also no one can get to the End anymore as all 3 end portals have been taken with storage cells. I have one, billy has one and another player has the last one.

and there is another way to get to the end, even without end portal

 

I was experimenting with storage cells last night, once you get the teleport worked out it shouldn't be too hard.

Store space on storage cell including yourself, a couple of guides on how to do this. Be prepared, don't get stuck. This creates new dimension. Put storage cell in ender chest and forget it, the dimension remains.

Don't bother building anything before, just build all in the new dimension.

Only problem is how to get in and out, my favourite teleport for this is Witchery. No chunk loaders needed. Red slippers to get from storage cell to overworld or wherever your bed is, Infusion of Otherwhere to get back into storage cell. It's a personal teleport, can't be stolen by anyone else. If bed destroyed, try /rt to get out, or kill yourself.

If you lose teleport to cell for some reason, rebuild spatial pylons, use cell to bring back the space. It will be missing a bunch of blocks that don't transfer, don't worry and don't change anything. Get in, send it back to cell again, you will be back in new dimension. Missing blocks will be there. Re-establish teleport. Go back and save the storage cell.

I don't know of a way to break into someone else's storage cell, which doesn't mean there isn't a way.
