Was looking for input on some good Resource Packs or Texture Packs (Are those the same thing?) for the new 1.10.2 Skyfactory 3.

Generally I like to stay under 256 Resolution and stick as close to native Minecraft textures as possible but I am open to any and all suggestions.

I use faithful 1.10, it gives a clean look, but this is only my opinion.

Sphax PureBDCraft is always a valid option, as they work to constantly update their pack to add textures for any popular mod or modpack alongside each new version of Minecraft. Most, if not all major mods are already covered.

Sphax is great and all up until if you die too many times (without relogging) your skin won't show up. (From personal experience and seen it happen to people.)

As Willow said Faithful Resource pack is what vanilla should be with a nice clean finish. And, the simple text is so easy on the eyes!

There is also Backyard Craft Resource pack.

It's photo realistic looking, personally I like it, you should give it a try if you're into realistic textures. Also, it's neat and smooth looking (in comparison to real life.)

Edit: Okay the NPCs' faces are a bit odd, but that's beside the point.

Does the Backyard Craft Resource Pack include mods or just vanilla items?

It should work with mods and vanilla items, it worked for me in the past.
