Done Portal Not Working

Hi I'm UR26C and recenly joined the server

I cant seem to open the nether portal even after following the vid/guide that was linked in the description/chat.
I've tried to select "farmWorld" and the same thing happens.

Break and place the sign again. Check if your portal is a complete 4*5 hollow rectangle.[DOUBLEPOST=1466258543][/DOUBLEPOST]Also check if you are i n the farm world or not as portals act funny over there.

 

Does the sign actually say "Portal" (Capitalization does not matter)? What's up with the fire, was that placed when you threw the lever or did you try to light the portal?

 

Guess that the sign says portal all right, and the fire is normal too. Think the portal is either too short or missing some blocks.

I've done exactly what the video had shown.

If i remember correctly i stand to an area where it says "Random to Overworld" last 2 days ago.
(How to Verify if i'm in the farmworld?)

Bug then, what server are you playing on?[DOUBLEPOST=1466262832][/DOUBLEPOST]Try building the portal at another spot?

 

Helped the player IG and could confirm he was in the farmworld. Marking solved.

 

A kind mod said that i was in the farmworld.

So I was right all the time... How nice...

 

Need for help for the portal which does not work I meet the same problem portal built according to the video tuto but nothing to make of more constructed the portal has 3 different location thank you in advance

 

I believe you have raised a topic from the dead, what server are you having issues with this is why we don't post in old closed threads we have no idea where you are

 

I think he took that necromancer rank too seriously
