There isn't a best way to get our attention really. You, as the player, have mutliple ways to get it. Forum support is not just open to staff to reply, but other members of the community to lend a helping hand. Tickets are a more private alternative. Staff also get information like what dimension, coordinates server, and a couple other useful things when the ticket is generated.
