Hey guys, i just tried some hours of ag+ and i had to experience serious block update issues (phantom blocks).. for example, 3-4 relogs needed for cutting down one oak wood. and you get the items duped when phantom blocks happen.. Also vanilla cobblegen doesnt update very often so you need to replace the blocks or relog.. 14 Obsidian on 11 cobblestone, i dont think it was meant to work this way (obsidian of course duped, lava source block stays) Just a hint, maybe you can do something about it.. Best regards, grav0r
Yeah, yesterday it happened to most of ppl on server who had to place and break blocks.. but today it seems to be better, i think you can close the topic
This happened to me on AG3 yesterday. Phantom blocks/duplicated blocks when chopping down trees or breaking down cobble/gravel and so on with a hammer. Also I had the same issue with our cobblestone generator (phantom blocks or lava doesn't flow). Plus every half stack of mined cobble or so the block where the cobble is usually generated turns into obsidian but the lava source block of course stays untouched by that.
The obsidian from the cobble generator is an intended feature, just use a stone Ex Nihilo hammer to break it.
Oh thank you very much! I thought it would either be a bug or intended to stop early game automation by putting an (for that progress) unbreakable block every now and then until you get a diamond level pick. Didn't know it was breakable with a hammer
That still leaves the phantom blocks/duplicated blocks issue. Sometimes when you break a block it will break, you get the item, but then an invisible version of the block is still there. You can't walk through it. When you place another block in that place, you will get the block you tried to place back and the phantom block appears and you can mine it and get that block too. It happened relatively frequently on Agrarian 3 yesterday when there were about 250 players total Earlier it didn't happen anymore with much less players online
