James had it correct, you can place down a single layer to prevent mob spawning, no need to massive walls if there is no where for mobs to spawn.

 

Believe these still give infinite water from what I tested on the beta playthrough of the pack, unless that was changed/disabled in the current version.

The reservoir should work, along with the well, and there is a block called infinite water

you can use the 3 water buckets + liquid transfer node + mining upgrade for inf water. get a tree farm as soon as you can. dont just ignore the missions as they give you things you need to survive and its free so why not. take your time and do it right the first time.

@Administrator Can you check on the node and make sure it is disabled, or I'll do it when I can.

 

It's the mining upgrade that supposed to be disabled afaik, I can't look at it right now though
