I know WHO made the first poll that did that, and that would be AlphaRue, I believe it's somewhere on the 10th-15th pages of the archived suggestion and feedback pages
The first ever post on MyM Forums to contain the word "potato": Implemented - Witchery! | MineYourMind Community
I took some time off from meme mods to search. The earliest reference to a potato poll in a forum thread is Implemented - Witchery! | MineYourMind Community from August 2015, but it refers to it as an established option. Since there's no way to know of to automatically search through poll content, without going to the effort of a script, I'll search manually from here. Earliest I found from memory so far is Implemented - larger conversations | MineYourMind Community from December 2014. Edit: From reading through that thread, it seems that this is the birth of the potato poll on the forums, and it had its roots in some events on the server at the time.
Taking time off from trying to make ars magica 2 to attempt to find something that you can find by just searching the earliest alpharue posts and finding what has a poll in it? not something i've EVER seen you do /s
I'm basically done with AM2 work for now, it's just waiting on somebody who can actually release on the CF page to do so. I've now moved to much sillier pastures *cough* until I come up with a fun idea for something big.
Aka you're making meme mods until you can create a mod for managing how much RF can go through a network and network RF monitoring... right?
Could you make a mob based on the semi-passive tameable wolf AI that is a large honey badger, and can you add an item called a honey pot that lets you pick up a tamed honey badger, and can you add a weapon called a BADGER CANNON that consumes the filled honey pots to fire the badgers in them at an enemy causing it to aggro on the closest hostile mob or other player where it lands?! That's my latest idea for a mod that I'm too lazy to develop anyway
Wait so the first suggestion thread with a potato poll was also implemented? Considering how few suggestions are implemented that may suggest correlation.
Just think of all that time you guys dedicated to an imaginary potato. Isn't that what the Loominarty wanted?
