    I just bought myself a 4K screen but i cant seem to get the resolution right, its 40 inch but the colors of minecraft seem a bit off and green is not brown, any idea how to get this working properly?

    Exactly, thread belongs over to the offtopic section ;P

    Technically speaking, Minecraft does not involve 4K-Graphics. It will upscale its resolution to fit your screen size and that's gonna be it. What you speak of might be something your screen is not properly set up with (eg. manipulated saturation). Does your screen come with any settings-software?

    Moved to the correct section. As for the color scheme, it is probably because Minecraft isn't designed for 4k gaming yet. It's to be released this fall.

    Yeah i has settings software in it, but it's a television though

    So you could most likely find a way around that by manipulating the saturation as you thuínk it looks most natural on minecraft. Or you look for a 4k-resolution texturepack (there are a few around. might only cause issues with some of the mods on the packs, as there are none for those)
