Aoe power setups

    So i currebtly entred age 3 and see that My power generation is lacking a Lot i have 3 wind Mills and 4 survival genes bruning Coke coal feeding into a IE hv capasator i dont really wana burn coal caus its needed for coal Coke and the survival gens only take a Block of Coke pr 4.3 hours... So what would be the logicial next step in terms of power more wind Mills or canola oil?

    Imao if you have enough resources to craft 2 farmers, 1 press, 4 fermenting barrel & 4 oil generators - all from AA - then do 2 9x9 canola fields, output from the 4 oil gens into your capacitor and you get up 4*350 rf / tick(- consumption of farmers), depending on your conduits/pipes/wires. No idea what is the better/cheaper conductor at your age though, i'm still age 2 :p

    personally i am using a mix of watermills from IE and thermoelectric. 2 of my thermoelectric are on my 2 calculator farms. these are now giving me free coal dust. haven't found a use for coal dust as i can't automate the calculator. but 25000 burn time of the end dproduct is pretty good.

    Why 2 farmers when 2 garden clouch can do the trick as far as i know they Are rather speedy if supplyd whit apitite or bone meal i do not know of the pack make nerfed the garden clouch in aoe

    That i do know but is its speed nerfed i have plenty ress to make them

    Mobfarm -> Bones -> Block of Bonemeal
    Undeath Generator + 20 speed upgrades + Block of Bonemeal = 2krf/t for ~2s/block. Everything should be available in Age 2 or 3.

    Nine Bones every two seconds.. that has to be an efficient mob farm!

    9 Bonemeal
    Only need 3 bones/2s with normal crafting to go +.
    With processing....

    now the mob farm i dont really know how to make an effecient mob farm can u give some tips

    Ic2 Tesla coil for mob-killing (watch out, they do hurt players as well)
    Ender hoppers for item pickup
    Cursed earth from ExU2 for more mob-spawns

    Yeah. Tesla coils work in a 7x7 area I believe

    Isn't the doom effect in this version? the one you get if you stand near an active undeath generator which then instakills you (even in /god or creative) after a one minute countdown?

    Don't know. I went to the IE Diesel Gen as soon as I could. Before that I usually fed the Undeath generator half a stack of bone blocks at a time
    Oh, and AoE is using an old version of ExU2 (new updates brought too many changes to ExU2 that the pack-dev don't want to re-structure into AoE again)

    Yea i suppose the doom effect hadn't yet been added in the version AoE is using, lucky for you I guess!

    Yup, but i haven't bothered with ex.u generators at all in this modpack, we used a set of 4 fully optimised waterwheels (4*88rf/t) to provide just enough power to tide us over until we could make a diesel generator setup ;)
