I was hoping to pick up the hypovolemia modpack to fix some bugs and update a few mods and hopefully make a server using the pack. I just wanted permission prior to changing anything
You can always fork the repo at github and work on your own fork for a bit. If you've then completed your changes you can do a PR, I'm pretty sure there are people who could convince the higher-ups to set up another Hypo Server once it gets updated enough (your task @Sandstroem) Who knows, maybe they'll even let you in the MyM-Modpack Github group, so you can directly work on the pack, but for the first time I'll suggest you go for a fork. Also, don't upload your changed pack to any distribution page like curse.com unless you get the permission from the relevant people.
If you ask me, Hypo would need some serious Rework of Progression and Questbook and probably more back to Caithleen's original idea, than to what our last team of too many people did to the pack. We did some improvements, but too many people without a creative lead ruined the pack more than it got improved. Or are you planning to update it to 1.10 ?
Well i was hoping to fix the current bugs in it and update mods (like my own mod that is featured in it) how ever a 1.10 version would be rather fun as well. Its been a while since I have been on an Mym server bc my laptop cant run most the packs. But it runs hypo rather well
We would definitely support a continuation of the modpacks development, if it improves the pack and is done semi-professional. I'm not sure if a 1.10 version would work, due to many of the mods not being available for 1.10.
Sweet. I will work on updating somethings and fixing bugs. Removing quests that are bugged or broken. Is the most recent version 0.2.0? (Btw Hello slind it has been a while)
hypo was a great pack i was one of the last players before the server went down for good and i had just started at that point i look forward to playing it if you fix it up
