Dear people from the USA that are along Irma's path,

I wish you all best of luck and strength during while Irma courses her path of destruction, I hope to see all of you back when it's safe and internet and power are restored.

To our players from the Caribbean islands, I hope you'll be able to recover from lady Irma passing by.

Kindest of wishes and best of luck,
    Jitrid

Same toppic, different kind of post:
If for some reason you are in a place that is endangered by Irma and have not left already, leave now. Even the strongest of buildings on those islands are not very likely to survive. And even if they survive Irma, there is still Jose.

As a meteorologist, if you're still in Florida, shame on you.

As I do feel sorry for Florida, there always has to be the person who looks the other way on things.

Irma started to form about 23 days ago. A warning by NHC has been discussed about 19 days ago. If you kept up with any sane news, or browsed the internet, then you would have seen something about Irma heading towards the Caribbean. This should instantly be a red flag, to which you start making plans on evacuating if this ever follows through.

I find it shameful how people wait till the last week to start leaving, to which all planes are now canceled and overpriced (except JetBlue, my true love).

Now there is the excuse of the elderly, or tech illiterate not having the knowledge to check on the current events, and for that, I will gladly feel bad for them, but for the people who think waiting out the storm till the last minute would be smart. Shame. On. You.

Sorry for being that one evil guy in the post, but I HATE when people think they are smarter than storms.
Anywho, sorry for my first amendment rant, to which no spell/grammar check has been conducted.

I wish everyone in Florida good luck, and everyone in the Caribbean, some major good lucks. Rebuilding is going to be a pain, and I wish we would donate to you instead of Harvey...

    Thanks for listening,
    -Ryan

Two hurricanes that have demolished some islands and will demolish Florida and possibly even more islands.

Irma will NOT be demolished. The carribean is the people we need to worry about. We gave Florida its warning awhile ago, and the storm will diminsh as it hits shore.

Also, Jose wont be hitting anything but the carribean.

Just watch the storm surge.. thats the biggest threst to florida..

Sorrh for being that one negative person in the poll, but without both views, were all biased on flawwed news.

You're better sheltering in place now, if you've seen the higheads you're running into an issue with being stuck on the side of the road without supplies.

The good news, if there is any to be had is most of us who've been through hurricanes are at least some what prepared. The issues with Florida is the inability to actually escape, there are only two main highways out of the state and they've been clogged for days.

Demanding an evacuation without having a means to carry it out is making a bad situation worse.

With some hope and luck Jose will catch Irma forcing them both back out to sea.

From what I can see with the current <forgot meteorological term>, Jose will continue with the current, and go back and up, but with Irma, it will be force into the gulf a bit, then into mainland. It will slowly turn right, but not enough to lower damage completely.

Time to go back to nice Ryan mode...

Hopefully the people in Florida is safe. If any of you are wondering, the only part where there is the biggest threat is the coastline. With the current conditions, Irma is going to create quite a big storm surge: upload_2017-9-9_19-40-56.

It's hurricane season, this year just started off with some larger ones. Normally we skate by with a few tropical storms or category ones. With a category five hitting Texas, and a three hitting Florida it is much more news worthy.

No. We had 1 Cat5 hitting 70% of the Caribbean, and we had 1 Cat4 hit 5% of the Caribbean.
