    3 day player retired.

Server laggy as heck. Rollback on a crash took my entire smeltery. Blood magic glitch did not give me back my stuff on death. This is a known bug they would not refund.

I have been told its the servers policy to not refund items on glitches. As a new player my experience was terrible. I would avoid this server and go to one who's staff actually provides support.

Alright, let me see if I got this right.
    1) If the server was "laggy", why didn't you report it? I see no indication from Support channel on Discord, The Ticket System, or Forums asking for this to be looked into.
    2) "Rollback on a crash took my entire smeltery." I bet you didn't know you actually caused the server to crash at one point did you? You can see that here on the very last section of the report. Whether or not this was the one that rolled back your smeltery, I cannot say. Blood Magic death glitch is something as MyM have no control over. The server is labeled "Highly Experimental" as seen in the server's Message of the Day. You can also see this here on our wiki that it is Highly Experimental. If we refunded every single item that was lost due to a glitch, rollback, ect, we would not have daily lives.
Again here, you did not ask for support, so how do we provide support when we do not know if you need it?

And here we have it. Staff not interested in making things right when bad things happen the player has no control over.

I was instructed that even if I submitted a ticket they would not be refunding losses due to glitches.

We're more than happy to try and make things right, we just do not refund lost items due to glitches, this is not an uncommon practice in the modified server arena. Given you account history favoring a vanilla experience it is possible that you are new to multiplayer modified minecraft. In this case then we apologize that you've had such a difficult experience in the transition from vanilla. Modified 1.10 packs are still in their infancy, and bugs do exist within the packs themselves, and sometimes unexpected things happen in a server environment.

The bug you are referring to is one within the mod itself, and we are unable to fix it ourselves as this pack is controlled and distributed from FTB, for us to apply a fix to it would require players to use our custom launcher.

As a new player you may also not be familiar with how our network is structured, most of our staff is not able to replace your items, this falls on the senior staff to provide players with refunds, in the end we would be lax in our duties if we were to provide refunds in the event of players losing items.

Did I say we don't care? I am guessing you have never played on a Modded Minecraft Network of this size. There are reasons why we have a no-refund policy. Have you actually gone through and read the thread/policy? You can do that here. This should explain why we don't just refund items in more depth.
As this would probably would be true based on what you have explained on how you lost your items, we want to fix the underlying issue. You might see this as not caring, but we care a totally different way. Like trying to fix server crashes, TPS issues, ect. These fixes could range from any number of things on a Modded Minecraft Network. I work very hard to fix all of these issues on a daily personally, and I know that the rest of the MyM staff team do so as well.
I have seen networks immediately delete posts like this but I am going out of my way to explain this to you before closing this thread. (If I have to)
Do not say we do not care. Because I do.

I was an Admin back when the No-refund policy was first implemented, and I'm gonna quote myself on this one as what I wrote in that thread back then is just as true today as it was three years ago, if not more-so!
Like seriously, do you have any idea how big this network is and just how many unfortunate players lose items to bugs that MyM has little-to-no control over on a daily basis, there literally isn't enough time in the day for the number of staff trusted enough to have the power to issue a refund to actually issue them to such a large number of players, especially if they had to verify the authenticity of every refund request one at a time... at that point you might as well just OP all players and let them /give themselves whatever they want :dead:

.....The Server is clearly Tagged : Highly Experimental, is total different in terms of resource demanding, there are plenty of bugs yes but staff and modders are on it for make sure you have a funny experience. Just be patient and give them time and most important your feedbacks and suggestions.

Yeah, staff DO care. I would know, I've had their assistance with many a problem. Also, when you do a review, you NEED to look for both negatives and positives, because unless there really is no positive or negative, a valid review needs both. you just dissed the server for issues we can't solve. whoopee, you lost a smeltery. trust me, if it was just the smeltery I had to redo, I wouldn't care. so what, 20 minutes, if not less. of digging. it aint difficult. and as Aidoneous stated, YOU are the reason the server crashed. that's not on us, that's YOU. if you don't want to believe that it was you that crashed it... here's the chunk of the report proving it.

    1. Details:
    2. Entity Type: null (net.minecraft.entity.player.EntityPlayerMP)
    3. Entity ID: 33318
    4. Entity Name: Skully7780
    5. Entity's Exact location: 2413.61, 72.00, -1097.46
    6. Entity's Block location: World: (2413,72,-1098), Chunk: (at 13,4,6 in 150,-69; contains blocks 2400,0,-1104 to 2415,255,-1089), Region: (4,-3; contains chunks 128,-96 to 159,-65, blocks 2048,0,-1536 to 2559,255,-1025)
The staff here are amazing, and I've had countless members of staff take even hours of their own time to help me with the weird bug or glitch, or maybe grief when it happens. some I can name off the top of my head are Aidoneous, Peace, and trust me, there were SO many others. Do remember, nobody's getting paid to do this stuff. staff are all volunteers. If you were to get on a network of this size, and be a member of staff, trying to give EVERY PLAYER their stuff back... you'd quit. I had to do that once. I was a staff member, on what was once a large modded mc network, and we had a refund system. and I investigated a few players to find that they were lying about their "lost items" and had to report them to my higher ups at that time. not to mention the living nightmare I had when I had to serve up 10+ players item refunds sometimes. so, for MYM staff to generally avoid refunding items lost to glitches, etc. was a good move. the staff get to spend more time helping people who actually need help, not the morally incorrect people who want to exploit someone's kindness for their own benefit. that's my rant.

Bet you didn't bother reading the whole thing, Skully.
