As the title says, my PO2 keeps hitting a memory leak It only happens on the MyM Launcher though, It works fine on the Twitch launcher. First of all, just because I am an admin doesn't mean I don't need help to! Plus the community can be resourceful when fixing issues. So some things I have tried are: Closing other programs Allocating less ram Removing any performance boosting mods Trying Singleplayer (to see if it was just on the server) Reinstalling the modpack And so far nothing has worked to remove the issue. I'm wondering if anyone else has any more ideas. -Colin
I have no idea what the issue might be, but I as well have been experiencing massive client side lag (I think?) for some reason. I used to run po2 kappa on the mym server a couple days ago at 50-60 fps steadily, loading screen was smooth, everything loaded fine, but now I am lucky to log into a choppy login screen and 0-3 fps on the server
Just for the record... how much ram do you allocate normally and how much did you try during your tests?
I went into the profile options on the twitch launcher and I set the bar to just past the |recommended| section for 6,303 mb of memory. That's what I had it set to before roughly, I also enabled fastcraft in the mods folder as I had before, but now for whatever reason, po2 kappa has become literally unplayable at 0-4 fps idk if I need to redo my jvm arguments or what not, everything was the same for so long I forgot the finer details of what I did, what I mentioned above is what I remember
What JVM options are you using? Does this issue also occur with other 1.7.10 packs, or packs on other versions? When did the issue begin?
I deleted the jvm arguments to test it without jvm arguments, I have not tested other packs, just this one. This all started a few days ago, idk if MYM updated to 2.4.0 or if it was always 2.4.0, but a few days ago, it went down for maintenance or whatever, I logged in fine, I logged out, after I updated to 2.4.0 I logged in again and I was getting like 0-4 fps for no reason I have a total of 8GB of RAM on my desktop, I am not familiar with all this hardware stuff haha, maybe I am allocating RAM wrong this time? This is my jvm argument: -Xmx6241m -Xms256m -XXermSize=256m -Dminecraft.applet.TargetDirectory="C:\Users\Alexander\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\Project Ozone 2 Reloaded" -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=US [doublepost=1515797170,1515782869][/doublepost]I tried running agrarian skies 2 and I still get like 3-5 fps
ok pulp bud make a seperate forum post if your also having this issue also try checking any hardware/software updates and make sure your java is up to date because those might be the problem that and or java is being a derp and you have to manually unistall and reinstall it
Hello, Seeing as how the original purpose of this thread was the PO2 memory leak, I will be marking this as solved since sirwill has fixed it (Changelog here). Please let us know if you need further support. Happy Gaming ~Grey
