That sounds about right. It’s pretty power hungry and more so with silk touch or fortune. I remember, when I thought the same thing, I found an experiment on google that showed just how much energy it took to power it. I’ll try to look for the link (if you haven’t already read it) when I get home from work.
It just really seems like a lot! I mean, it peaks around 15k -20k in the overworld. Maybe I was using a clearing quarry last time I was mining The End. I Guess I need a few more Draconic Flux Capacitors!
