Thaumcraft Rules (End Game)

    I would like to petition Mineyourmind to change their policy on thaumcraft items. At this moment, any and all items that require research (not dropped or found in a dungeon chest) are counted as endgame.
    I would like to propose the endgame item policy be moved to only the items in the ELDRITCH tab.

    Reason: The Eldritch tab can only be unlocked by progressing through nearly all the research of thaumcraft, and the entire mod is based upon researching items and new bits and bobs

    Thaumic tinkerer Kami etc. are also endgame, there are also quite a few other thaumcraft items (thaumium caps + silverwood wand) that you can only buy if you have made them once before, so I disagree with you

    - Guy that hasn't played thaumcraft in 2 years yet still knows every single makeup of every single vis type

    Kami and thaumic tinkerer are only available after infusion and the eldritch tab are unlocked, so at the very least it would best to have the Infusion altar research (which the Thaumic tinkerer uses) as the start of "endgame", while researches that don't require it be viable for selling, trading, and use amoung the public.

    You only said the elderitch tab, which is entirely unrelated to the infusion stuff (you can unlock it before getting infusions).

    then are you suggesting that it be locked behind infusion altar research? Are you suggesting that void ingots are also not endgame because of the fact that it doesn't need infusion research?

    I will concede to your points made, but, as a rebuttal I find that the void metal ingots can lead to "overpowered" gear (armour and tools) however the true use of voidmetal is with infusion research or in crafting in the arcane workbench, things that either require infusion or are in the eldritch tab. I only wish for this to change as putting a blanket ban of the trading and selling of thaumcraft materials makes it fairly difficult to work with others that don't want to "team" and could help those with a bad stroke of luck.
    That is why I would atleast like the "endgame" policy to apply to items that require infusion, or infusion components (that can't be acquired else ways)

    So, i think they should let every items that don't require infusions and eldritch things go as normal items
