How do i write an age in MyM? they changed it COMPLETELY to reduce lagg and i want to create an empire, in a written age, but i can't because of me, not knowing how to write the age, in the server
You write the age in exactly the same way you would in single player, by collecting pages throughout the world or trading with the mystcraft villagers, then once you have all your symbols organised in a notebook, the only difference on MyM is that you have to go to the farmworld in order to create the age, as you cannot place a book binder on the 3 build servers (N/S/E). Do /spawn to get to the monster lobby, go down the elevator shaft into the farmworlds warpzone, then go to the Mining world and find somewhere to place down the book binder, use /kit panel to get a free linking panel, click the link panel into the book binder, and then click the notebook with the rest of your symbols into it, put 1 leather in the top left slot, and you will then be able to take out the descriptive book from the top right slot. Where you place the descriptive book after that is up to you, but the important thing is you cannot use the descriptive book if you take it back to one of the 3 build servers as you will get an internal server error, you need to find somewhere safe in the lobby mining world to place down the descriptive book, and /sethome to it, then you can use the book to teleport to your new age and do another /sethome if you want once you find a location that you want to build in, but make sure you place down a chunkloader in the age somewhere, as the age must be already loaded in order for /home myst for example, to work, as if the age isn't already loaded the home teleport can bug out, and you would then need to use your other home point where you stored your descriptive book, in order to get back to your age. Finally, make sure that once you have an age that you're happy with, you do /myst add age <number> where <number> is the age number listed on your descriptive book, as any ages not whitelisted with this command will be deleted once a month!
iv seen some people have a portal in N,E,S to a mystcraft world if they on the lobby server how are they set up? as its what i was thinking of setting up
