Situation: Quarries dont work in the overworld since everything is gated. Fakeplayers can only mine ores on the planets in space (not overworld). So using it to grief doesnt apply here.
The BC Quarry doesnt work (i tried). The only other alternative is the RFTools Builder with Quarry Shape cards.

However upon crafting one, it got removed as it was a "Problematic Item"

Can for SevTech this item be allowed please? Otherwise Galacticraft progression is going to be a really enormous pain in the you-know-what. You need large amounts of Desh, Carbon, Palladium and Mercury ores to make a Tier 5+ rocket. Mining this by hand would not be doable.

Even though I have not played the server (Not a donor, as much as I wanna be) I can see this being an issue, simply because I know h0w Sevtech works. Finding any ores is a living nightmare without quarries. (Still on age 2 and can't get past that thanks to my computer >~<) But yeah, you guys should definitely enable the quarries, especially for when the server inevitably becomes open-access.

Well i just hit Uranus and its become even more annoying now. To make a tier 7 rocket, you need 37 Tier 7 plates to make all rocket components. This requires 37 times 5 reinforced crystal plates, for which you need to mine (currently by hand) 740 Uranus Crystal Ore.

Even with the excavate thingy on your tool this is insane. Without the use of /god, you will run out of food before you even hit half a stack. This is basically forcing people to either use /god against their will, or to just halt progression.

Seriously, whenever I get onto the server, and (Hopefully) speedway my way back to gen 2, I want to eventually be able to use any available quarry in later generations. Especially one like this. So, yes, please re-enable the quarry for this server. It would be greatly appreciated.

What does everyone think about world restricting this item? Would that be better?

Yeah, just prevent it from being placed in non-resetting worlds
Hell, that could be how we do it across the entire network XD

    World restricting: Yes, good idea
Not in non-resetting worlds: Not so much

Why: As it looks now, all the Galacticraft planets are non-resetting. Its not mentioned anywhere that they reset at all. Then again, this is not desired, because normal people, without the ability to use /god and just walk around nekkid on the moon and what not, they have to construct a small base there in order to survive long enough for meteors to spawn (For example on the moon and mars). If those dims would reset (weekly or even monthly) this would mean people would have to break their base prior to each reset, which is obviously not desired.

Id suggest restrict quarries to certain worlds, but for example limit their size if possible, or make a rule about it saying you cant quarry more than 1 chunk, 2x2 or 3x3 chunks a week. Maybe even base the size of the area you are allowed to quarry per planet, per week on the Patron Tier level. Just like with the amount of chunks you are allowed to load. That way you still should get a decent amount of the ores you need, you wont break the server and it wont be neccesary to reset any of those worlds for a very long time because players wont mine more than what they need from them. (instead of greedy ppl running 20x20 chunk or bigger quarries and only needing a tiny bit of what they pull out).

The worlds i'd say that definately need quarries are:
The Farmworld - Not really because the ore clusters seem to be not picked up by fakeplayers due to staging. Needs further confirmation.
Mars and all planets following until at least Tier 8 (havent gotten further, so dont know about the rest). Ask @Matryoshika, he might know if its desired to quarry on other higher tier planets.

I haven’t reached this far into the game yet, but I could definitely see this becoming a struggle in the future, I believe a world restriction would suffice for what deepcage is asking, unless there is a better way that I have not been informed about.
