My Friend and my Island spawned directly next to each other (side-by-side) and wanted to ask if its possible to connect them both with each other. Im playing on Node 4.
Theoretically, you should be able to. It would take a lot of resources to do so though. Would need x amount of blocks to build a bridge. As for the staff team, we can't help you build it nor be able to connect them for you. You can avoid the hassle of building altogether by setting homes at each other's respective island.
As long as you both trust each other it should in theory allow you to connect them together physically.
The problem is you can't build further than your 256x256 limit and all islands got a distance about 200 Blocks between each other when fully extended. And that is kinda the Problem...
from what i remember from my times on ag skies when building a sea there was an amount of island that was claimed and a few chunks or two of unclaimed land before going into the next claim, this was useful for me (allthough the unclaimed area was a snow biome)
Hmm we must have increased the gap between islands in 1.10. Unfortunately there isn't a solution that would work without potentially breaking something else.
both of them build a bridge towards edge and into unclaim? or is there something that pysicly stops them? because it would be awsome to see a cool built bridge built between two as awsome islands
wait why do you want to connect them (bc other wise your gonna wate alot more time building a bridge when you could just use matter trancevers that are on private access
I could afford it but i want to build it for the looking :/ After the 256x256 you cant build any further and you dont get a message either
aw, you used to be able to on ag skies (mainly for the wild thuamcraft nodes i spose) but it would still be nice if you could build a bridge
