The main reason for this thread was (if I got it right) people talking English in the global chat as some sort of conversation/small talk. No one said anything against trading offers and general questions...
wenn sich an den Regeln nichts Ändert oder keiner was dagegen tut dann sprechen alle mur noch english! die die es können ok aber ich kann es nicht so und wenn ich auf einem server spiele wo nur deutch gesprochen werden darf sollte dies auch eingehalten werden und nicht so wie es jetzt ist! wenn ich auf nen server gehe wo die sprache english is halt ich auch einfach den mund!
es hält sich nur keiner an die regel das nur deutsch gesprochen wird! und selbst die Mods und Co-Admins die on sind machen nichts dagegen! da könnt ihr gleich auf english umstellen und verwarnt alle die deutsch schreiben (wie auf anderen servern)
Wäre es evtl zuviel verlangt noch einen chatkanal hinzuzufügen für international also englische sprache und ein german only chat? Dann könnten wir wieder entspannt zocken und über alg labern während die englisch sprachigen Spieler den international channel nutzen können. Wär nur so ne idee
I didn't read the rules properly when I joined but mostly the rules are common sense, no grief, no spam, no lag-machines, no racism, etc. Basically, we just try to play normally without causing people problems. What @general21 said is true, there is a lot of English on global chat and I'm also guilty of breaking the German-only rule sometimes. In principle I have no problem with talking in private chat but there is some problems. 1.) Party chat is difficult to understand. There is no clear instructions in the /help (unless you read online on Google). I think many people don't even use party chat. 2.) Party chat requires level 1 in order to work. So new players can make a party but they have to unlock the party chat. This makes it hard for new players to chat to more than 1 person unless they use global chat. Also, there is already a hero-chat plugin on the server. Maybe the admins can make 2 global channels? 1 for English and 1 for German? I dunno why this isn't already done but it's just an idea. I understand the TPPI server was made for Germans so we want to respect the rules, but the situation doesn't make it easy to talk in English privately.
