Weekly Reset of Nether and Erebus On PO2 servers

So, I'm suggesting this thread as the title states as players use the Nether as a way to quickly level up there tinker tools so there's chunks of the Nether that players could fall into and die if they didn't have some sort of form of flight and most of the mob spawners from the fortresses are either claimed so players can't use them or were destroyed for the "broken spawner". As for the Erebus the loot drops from the Brood Mother and Antlion Overlord are required to progress through the pack (get to the mining dim). I believe changing the reset for the Nether and Erebus from Monthly to weekly would benefit new players as well as players who haven't reached the Mining Dimension.

 

Yoo can craft the idols and spawn the the golems that way also you craft the antlion overlord spawneregg. broodmother spawneregg is craftable too.

 

Exactly you need drops from the bosses to craft the spawn eggs all the bosses in the Erebus have been killed hence why I'm making this suggestion

 

cant you use some sort of enderio spawner or something to capture a boss/mob you need to get loots from idk if people still can do that or not

 

You can but thanks to the pack author it costs 300 experience levels to make any type of powered spawner (300 buckets of mob essence in mob spawner I believe)

 

Gathering the required experience isnt the problem. I just did that in under an hour with an experience seed farm. But i do concur on the weekly reset being neccesary. If i recall correctly, this was also implemented on the PO2 Kappa server quite some time ago. Either that or the world border was expanded to allow players to find more bosses.

 

When the last time i played this, the only thing that you wasnt able to get it buy yourself, for craft the spawner egg ,is the silk from erebus. All the other stuss is doable with farming 3-4 types of mobs in erebus. So making the silk craftable would help to...

I also have been scouring the Erebus on PO2 Normal and i have to say its pretty barren. The only pyramid i found so far was looted and the world border is 1800 from spawn in any direction, so pretty small.

 

Yeah I play po2 normal and it is a really big issue knowing that after a month long wait for erebus reset people just instantly teleport to a pyramid that way they can kill the boss and then no one else gets a soul crystal or quest completion and this can actually make it impossible for people to complete their quests. Either the world has to be bigger or the world needs to change everytime its reset or just make it one time a week.

 

Then again... you could just spawn the antlion overlord... there's a craftable recipe in NEI for the overlord and its 4 guardians.
