Why use a mod when there's plenty of screen capture programs I myself use shadow play to record/stream of minecraft There's also OBS And xsplit tho I don't recommend it OBS is the better where shadow play came whit my graphics card

Is the mod a client mod if not use a capture program the pack won't be modified If your fps drops then use Fraps buut Fraps is crap
MYM prevent any additional client mods unless they have been approved, This is to prevent any glitches/cheats that could make their way into the game via them. Few years ago there was a huge issue with a mod that allowed players to get creative items if you slightly modified it.
You should be able to join with that mod now but the server is not really the best place to record something like that because of the smaller view distance.

Hm, that doesn't seem to include everything. Try joining again and check for a latest.log in the modpack directory.
