Second Enigmatica node?

I'd honestly like to see a server for all three but I know the chance of that happening isn't likely, I'd love to be able to play Enigmatica with someone but don't really like the style of expert packs

 

You can still join me on the current expert server katie. Ive got room My current teammate is rather busy in real life with stuff, so he doesnt come on very often. Only seen him once about a week ago.

I'd love to join you but I'm still waiting on several parts for my new build so I'll be able to run the pack at more then 10 FPS xD

 

I voted for Skyblock version since I think it has better progression than the overworld version. It also has a benefit of being more performance(client) friendly and people won't have problems with land claiming etc.
In my single player world I'm finishing up space stuff and preparing for draconic evolution. I will happily restart here if server is made.

 

My wife came down with pneumonia so I've not been on with her sick. It's like having a third child!

 

The only issue I had with the skyblock is my loathing of sky resources.

 

Regrowth is a "Completely different modpack", can i vote for that !

Another server may be needed though. I logged on yesterday when there was 31 players online. I could not do anything because the TPS had dropped too under 5 tps. I could not break blocks or open doors or even move much. Finally logged out and had to wait until 4am too play when there was only 18 people online.

The TPS was pretty intense on the server. Could have been because of players or broken items being uses I am not sure but it was crazy.

A Normal server would be very nice cause it makes it easy for people too learn some of the mods that are in the pack we may have never used before.

A Skyblock server would be nice because it adds a very nice layer of difficulty that a lot of players love. If you do a skyblock server do not add a Farmworld. Keep it hard, no ways for people too mine for resources.

Another expert would only be nice if you do not load one of the other two servers and that is only to split the player base between servers and to help reduce server resources.

 

current enigmatica server is pretty much a patron server less you feel like playing at 2 am

 

might be a good idea anyway regardless, to do a new Node for enigmatica 2 expert, its limit is 18, and everyday there is atleast 25 on there...no way for non patrons/legacy people to play unless they willing to spam refresh and hope it drops below the max number.

 

I think we have seen 32+ players on there (which is a true testament to the hardware/software setup that it even copes with that)

So in theory you have 32 players with their bases already on node 1, so those 32 players are always going to try to get on node 1 (excluding natural attrition which may negate this over time)

not sure if its even possible to 'move' people onto a new node

if we have people waiting to get on then it would be worth opening a second node though

I dont know if (historically) expert packs are as popular as normal packs, although 'I'm guessing MYM has a a pretty hardcore core but with the popularity of stoneblock and SF3 any extras may be best suited to a non expert variant

Skyblocks are always different, I dont know what the timelines are for PO3 and SF4 though

TLDR: It seems I dont really have any useful opinion but new packs are always good (speaking as a player). #potatoes4lyfe

I would like to suggest that we made Enigmatica 2: Expert server nod 1 for Doner and Patrons.
Second Enigmatica 2: Expert server nod 2 for all.

 

I think it is effectively already is that way, with most of the (42) people being donators

so making node 1 reserved only, wont actually change anything regarding the current situation

 

I support opening second node, it's mission impossible to join server

 

Why not open a second node for Enigmatica and add a server for both Expert Skyblock and the Normal mode that way people who want to play Enigmactica but don't want to have to deal with the expert recipes can
