Unlikely, this is the skyblock version meaning gating is different, it is essentially a different pack to start.

Can we get this patron only then for a few weeks? so the pleebs dont clog up the server and break it before the paying members actually get some of their moneys worth in server performance?

At some point yea. not after only 2 days. The only benefit Patrons get is daily vote tokens and a little higher chunkloading limit. But thats not real value for money. A patron only server, at least for some weeks, or a month would be.
There already is a patron only server for the Awakening pack, Considering I'm one of the ones that voted for and wanted the skyblock version it wouldn't be fair to me if it was made Patron only. Not to mention it wouldn't be fair to the people who can't pay for Patron for various reasons. Seems like it is basically like the land based expert version with sky resources at the start, but without dragons and the other world gen shenanigans. Progression is quite similar. Similar to how infinity skyblock "differs" from infinity expert mode.
Likely to some degree. Less exploring by people. Less blocks to render. but on the other side... If the player base goes up to the levels of the normal non-skyblock server... well then that wont do us much good i think.
