New Solar Panel Palooza!

Good Morning MyM (Vietnam)!
We are very excited to announce that the new event season is HERE!

The Events!

Each month a new special event will be held for a designated period. Builds will be judged on originality and adherence to that month's theme, and prizes and points will be awarded! Points will go on a leader-board that will lead to the ultimate GRAND PRIZE at the end of the event!

Solar Panel Palooza!

In this unique competiton we will be pairing up players with a staff member volunteer for a playthrough of Infinity Normal. In these playthroughs, the goal will be to acquire 4 Ultimate Solar Panels in the shortest amount of ingame time (Time will be combined for the teams, so 1 person online counts 1 hour as 1 hour, if both are on for 1 hour it will count as 2 hours). The March event will kickoff on March 10th and will continue until we have our placements for prizes!

How Does It Get Judged and What Do We Win!?

This time, due to the nature of the event, judging is not really needed, however we will be taking a member or two of the community behind the scenes as a “Judge” to ensure everything is impartial.
However extra points will be awarded for individuality and effort put into your base, while it will certainly not be enough to allow you to even place singlehandedly, it will offer a nice bump on top of your score!

The Monthly Prizes!

This month is going to be different! So pay attention:
For March's Event, we are going to try out a new system for our prizes, where the amount of participants directly affects the prizes! This means the more members to sign up the larger of a prize pool we will have! Due to this, specifics for the prize will not be available until after the event.
Grand Prize: The grand prize's details are forthcoming and will depend on community involvement and how many events we hold other than the monthlies!

How Do I Get On?

You can get on by launching Infinity Evolved from the MyM launcher(For those of you using other launchers, that'll be version 3.0.2 , and connect to the IP listed on the contestant google form you must fill out below!​

• No Draconic Reactors
• Offline chunkloaders will NOT be allowed, only onlines as offline loaders would skew the playtime.

*Note: You MUST sign up with the form above in order to be considered running for the prizes. Judges will be random out of the pool that has signed up. Judges are not expected to build the month that they are judging.

ohmy a competition with an end-game end goal. i can't even play fast normally but this seems like an awesome challenge.

 

@GreyWolf11 I GOT A FEW QUESTIONS (I even went on teamspeak to ask since i know you guys hang out there but everyone was afk)

1: Will the event server have the same plugins and perks as the other servers, like market, /kit, and /feed or /fly like old Donator tiers or Patron tiers perks

2: Will structures also be generated? I could see how if someone raids a village/desert temple/stronghold/ect that might lead to unfair circumstances and advantages for other players, seeing how its a competition you'd think an even playing field would be important.

3: Regarding #2, how will you handle Inscriber presses? There's only so many meteors that can spawn in the world border that not everyone would be able to get an AE system until someone traded them spares or made extras to give out (WHICH IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY, it is a competition after all)

4: Is there going to be Twilight Forest access on this event server? Will there be a farmworld?

5: Potato or potato? Which way do you pronounce it?

6: Also do you like Conquest on Smite? Every one of my friends hate it but i love it.

1. Exactly how to handle this is st ill up in the air, however it is extremely likely that these will not be available simply to keep the playing field even (*Market will not be available at all)
2. Structures will be generated in the farmworld and overworld
3. If an issue with finding these arises we will provide a set to every team at the cost of 1 iron block per
