Hi everyone, Can't find a mention of this on the forum so I'm assuming it's just me but I cannot get my kiln to fire on farmworld. Nor can I use the fire sticks to light anything other than wood stacks. I'm confident I've tried everything correctly so my only assumption left is that there is a no open flame rule on the server, is this true?
Afaik you cant manually make a fire bc claim protection plugin, you must find a way to automated fire, something like dispenser with but idk if its avaiable in age 0.
You should be building in the overworld, not farmworld. Farmworld resets monthly. For the kiln, when I did it, I managed just fine in overworld lighting the ground on fire. The thing Ereh is talking about is specifically for flint and steel. Just make sure you have a firestick in both main and offhand then right click and wait for it to set a block on fire. Some blocks will go out much faster than others though
Thank you both, I'm new to the server so the farmworld sounded like the best place to start in case I made a mess. How do I exit the farmworld back to the hub? Regarding the firesticks, I think it must be something on my end. If the anti-grief mod isn't stopping it then I can't think of anything else. I'm familiar with the mod pack and haven't had this problem in the past though. They work when lighting log piles for charcoal but just get used up when used on cobble or a log block. Weird.
