While I can fully appreciate now annoying it can be to lose a load of expensive stuff due to a crash having lost stuff myself on several occasions in the past, the fact is that we have a very strict No Refunds Policy in place to protect us from fraudulent or effectively pointless claims, so I'm sorry, but you will just have to remake everything you lost from scratch like everyone else.

I'm not accusing you of fraud, I'm saying protecting against fraud is one of the reasons we have the no refunds policy in the first place, but if we say "no refunds for any reason" then that has to be the case, if we made an exception for you just because your claim of item loss appears to be honest then it wouldn't be fair to all the people who just accepted the loss and got on with replacing it themselves (I had a player on Monster a few weeks ago who decided to pack up his entire base to move from Monster-East to Monster-South only for his player.dat to become corrupt during the transfer so hee lost literally everything he had and when I explained about the no refunds policy he just accepted it and took it as an opportunity to make a fresh start) and it defeats the whole point of having the policy in the first place...

If we instead said "only provable claims will result in a refund" then we would have to actually take the time to investigate every claim we get (and we get a lot of claims as it is even with the no refunds policy in place) which would take up all of our available time meaning no time to fix real problems like corrupt chunks etc and no time to work on improvements to our network like new modpacks.

As I said before, you will just have to remake everything, now admittedly I don't know what this UV lightbox you mentioned is, but if you need it in order to remake the assembly line then what is stopping you from first making a new lightbox?

I am NOT comparing you to ANYTHING...

Can you please confirm something for me: do you actually speak English or are you using a translator like google or something?

...Because clearly you have misunderstood what I said; I DID NOT "compare you to someone who is corrupt" in any way, what I said was if we have to spend all of our time investigating whether a loss of items claim is genuine then we won't have time to "Fix serious problems like corrupt chunks" (for reference, a chunk is a 16x16 area of the map, you can see the chunk borders ingame by pressing F9 twice, a corrupt chunk is a chunk that crashes the server when a player causes it to load)...

i completely understood what u meant u said that i should just like him accept it and move on but i am rather pissed that it isnt just once that this happened on crash 3 u dont need to explain the game to me i understand what chunks are and i'm not saying that there arnt more important stuff to be handeled having fixing chunks but me spending hours on ure server and trying to do something and then getting a shrug oh wellw e have a no refund policy is kinda upsetting aswell,

i missreaded the part for the corrupted data file sorry my apologies

    anyways thnx for the answers

wow... ask for help then get pissed at the staff when they inform you of the clearly posted rules saying that your request for a refund will not be. CLEARLY POSTED rules saying no refunds, for any reason... Good job mate.

Anywise, I believe the UV lightbox is on a repeatable quest? meaning that you can always do the quest again to get another one.
