Ok. My problem is that I have recently been given a boon/curse. I have a new video card that is a midrange 128 bit shader card. Now I need to know how to use the Opti fine program to get the most out of the card and how to go about entering the information in the MYM format so I can get the most out of this card. I realize that I can download each program then use Opti fine then use the game launcher to get to MYM, but there has to be a better way. Please respond ASAP thank you.
Oh Well. Perhaps after the holiday I might get somwone to assist me with this. Ill keep trying on my own to try to make sense of this mess.
I am confused by your question. I just drop the jar file into each mod folder for the pack I want optifine installed in.
It is that easy! Just make sure you have the right version that matches the MC version of the pack and drop it into the packs mod folder.
In another vein; I have been able to load almost all of the programs in the 1.7.10 with the exception if any Infinity program. This includes Infinity, Infinity Skyblock., and anything else that has to so with Infinity. The programs start the load and then at some point "Give up" , and I am left with a swirly in the middle of the screen with the system locked tight. When I break out of the problem. MineCraft falls to a preinitialized position with NO record of what happened. I have plenty of RAM to work with and I cant figure out what just happened. In my tests, I can run programs before Infinity and programs After Infinity, but not Infinity. I thought perhaps you may know of a particular reason that this does not want to work. I immediately thought of the shaders but I would have some indication of that while loading as it does display a graphic during the load. If I can get a error setup then I will upload to Github. There are not many that are trying to download and run 1.7.10 programs.
I have a file in Paste bin but I really do bot not know how to link it with a URL.. I've never done that. I will continue to work on it. I might get lucky.
