Hello, Currently I am Tier 3 and i would like to upgrade to tier 4 but in the shop it won't allow me. Only allows me to purchase to the tier 2 to 3.
Hi Bob, On my end it's now showing you only purchased the tier 1 pack and therefor also not discounting the other tier prices. I can also see you are tier 3, so something is having a hiccup in the shop. This will need an admin and possibly SirWill to look into. @Administrator
Hello, It's not letting you purchase it because in game and on the forums it's showing you as only having purchased Tier 1 and Tier 2. Which means you can only upgrade from Tier 2 -> Tier 3 at the moment. Do you have a receipt of you purchasing Tier 3? Thanks, BetaPetey
The Tier 2>3 upgrade was bought as a gift to me by some random person 5+ years ago, I do not have a receipt. All I have to show for it is the fact I have the permissions for tier 3 along with the forum tag.
Are you sure they didn’t purchase you Patron Tier 3 which comes with the Legacy Tier 3 rank? Since that would be why you have the achievement for Tier 3 on the forums. The only permissions you currently have are for Tier 2.
I believe Legacy Tiers have been part of the network since its inception, while Patron Tiers were introduced later. The key difference is that Patron Tiers operate on a subscription basis with monthly billing, whereas Legacy Tiers—often simply referred to as “Tiers”—are permanent.
You're correct! The tiers were part of the original MYM. When Mojang started cracking down on EULA tiers as they are were sunseted to ensure that they were in compliance with EULA. Patron 3 mirrors the permissions of the old Tier system, but is monthly rather than a pay once for the associated benefits.
